Alex Neild

Is a Part 1 Architecture Graduate based in Manchester 

A newly qualified Part 1 Architect, keen to join a local practice to progress architectural experience and knowledge within this field. At Salford University, developed skills in both the practical and theoretical aspects of this subject,  whilst operating alongside construction disciplines. Gained valuable practice drawing and creating physical models though producing portfolios on the  assigned projects, in addition drawing up accurate but aesthetic plans using CAD software (AutoCAD and Revit) and editing software (Photoshop and InDesign). Experience of accompanying skills of presenting work to a panel as well as chairing and taking minutes of team meetings. 

Whilst completing Part 1 in Architecture worked part-time as a Restaurant Assistant at Housing Units; gaining customer service and time management skills. Developed self-management skills such as; timekeeping and reliability whilst having a strong work ethic and able to organise the employment and study commitments.

Volunteered as a Young Leader in Scouting, ensuring the personal safety of children, enabling the children to work towards challenge and activity badges. Provides children with confidence and self-awareness, whilst promoting a healthy friendly environment. Achieved the Chief Scout Gold Award and made great progress towards the Duke of Edinburgh Gold  Award. Holds a full clean driving licence.
